Simplybiz Mortgages and FIBA add six lenders to specialist panel

Published on

Simplybiz Mortgages and the Financial Intermediary & Broker Association have expanded their Specialist Property Finance Panel with six additional lenders.

Catalyst Property Finance, Foundation for Intermediaries, Greenfield Bridging, MT Finance, Reward Funding and Together have joined the panel, which launched in March with 11 lending partners.

The additions broaden the range of funding available to Simplybiz Mortgages and FIBA members across bridging, specialist buy-to-let, commercial and development finance, property investment lending and revolving credit facilities.

The panel is intended to give mortgage advisers looking beyond mainstream residential business access to specialist lenders alongside training and technical support from FIBA.

SPECIALIST FINANCE SUPPORT

FIBA’s wider support includes its Certified Practitioner in Specialist Property Finance qualification, FIBA Academy and online Knowledge Hub, as the organisation looks to help advisers develop their knowledge of specialist property lending.

Martin Reynolds (pictured), chair of FIBA and chief executive of Simplybiz Mortgages, said: “The response to the enhanced Specialist Property Finance Panel since it launched earlier this year has demonstrated both the appetite for specialist lending support and the opportunities available to advisers operating in this market.

“By welcoming six additional specialist lenders to the panel, we are further strengthening a proposition that enables advisers to access a broader range of funding solutions for their clients while also benefiting from the education, expertise, and support available through FIBA.”

Nick Parker, sales director at Together, added: “We are delighted to join the Specialist Property Finance Panel and further strengthen our valued partnerships with Simplybiz Mortgages and FIBA.

“At the same time, we’ll bring greater lender choice, specialist expertise, and practical support, all helping to build broker knowledge and confidence in identifying more opportunities to meet the needs of a wider range of clients.

“As a founding contributor to the content within the Certified Practitioner in Specialist Property Finance qualification, Together is proud to support the education that underpins growth in the specialist lending sector.

“On joining this panel, Simplybiz Mortgages and FIBA members will benefit from greater access to our broad range of property finance solutions, backed by the expertise and insight we have developed over more than 50 years.”

Simplybiz Mortgages and FIBA said further changes to the specialist property finance proposition are planned.
