Curvestone AI joins Barclays programme as it targets growth in mortgages and wealth

Published on

Curvestone AI has been selected for a four-month Barclays Eagle Labs programme aimed at helping fast-growing businesses develop their operations and commercial strategies.

The financial services compliance technology provider is one of 25 companies taking part in the Scaleup Programme, which will cover leadership and operations, commercial performance, customer retention and expansion, and funding strategy.

Curvestone plans to use the programme as it expands its presence in the mortgage and wealth sectors, while developing relationships with other businesses in the cohort and the wider Barclays Eagle Labs network.

The company provides technology designed to automate compliance and oversight processes for regulated businesses.

Its platform covers areas including case-file reviews, financial promotions and financial crime controls, with customers including mortgage brokers, networks, lenders and wealth advisers.

FOUR-MONTH PROGRAMME

The first Scaleup Programme session was held at the Barclays Innovation Hub powered by Eagle Labs in Shoreditch.

Businesses taking part will have access to sessions involving people who have previously scaled companies as well as specialist input from the programme’s partners.

These include Plexal, EY, Google Cloud, Cooper Parry, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and Emerald Technology.

Dawid Kotur, founder and chief executive of Curvestone AI, said: “We had a great first session with the programme leads, and it was reassuring to hear how many of our scaling challenges are shared by the other founders in the room.

“Over the next four months I want to learn from people who have scaled before, get to know the wider Eagle Labs network, and explore where we can work with partners such as Google Cloud and EY.

“We’ll be sharing what we’ve learned on our own journey too.”
