SDL Surveying partners with Mansfield BS

SDL Surveying has announced a new partnership with Mansfield Building Society.

The national residential surveying and valuations firm will be providing residential valuation services, utilising its full roster of both in-house, employed surveyors plus its external, nationwide network of local, independent chartered surveying firms.

SDL said the new relationship will allow it to broaden its offering given that lenders such as the Mansfield offer a wide range of mortgage product options, across both the mainstream and the specialist sectors.

Simon Jackson (pictured), managing director of SDL Surveying, said: “It is always exciting to announce a brand-new relationship, especially with a lender that has a history of over 150 years, one that shares our core business values, and one that is clearly committed to helping a wide a range of mortgage borrowers.

“Mansfield has been at the cutting-edge of the mortgage market for a number of years, and we are delighted to start working with the team there to enhance the valuation services they provide to their customers, using the vast expertise and technical know-how of all the surveyors that work for us.”

Dave Newby, Customer Service Executive at Mansfield Building Society, added: “SDL Surveying and Mansfield are a great cultural fit for each other having similar values and work ethics. We have already seen the benefits of moving across to SDL in terms of some process improvements that Claire Lydon and the team have helped us introduce to make the mortgage teams’ life easier.

“We look forward to working closely with them as we progress on our digital transformation journey to further improve the service we provide for our customers.”
