Paymentshield expands home insurance panel

Allianz has been added to Paymentshield’s home insurance panel.

Allianz operates in 70 countries worldwide and has a workforce of over 140,000.

Paymentshield has added three new insurers to its home insurance panel in the past seven months and it can now provide up to eight quotations via its ‘aggregator style’ results screen.

Adam Marshall, head of broker sales and distribution for retail at Allianz Insurance, said: “We are very pleased to be joining the Paymentshield home insurance panel, which we believe will enable us to reach more customers at a time when we have ambitious growth plans for our retail broker business. We look forward to a successful partnership together.”

Amanda Fox, Paymentshield’s insurer relations director, added: “Our partnership with Allianz has helped us to further improve an already market leading Home Insurance panel which should give advisers even more confidence that they can offer their clients a really great deal on a quality product.

“The introduction of Allianz this month follows a really successful 2014, where we welcomed both AXA and Zurich and we will continue to work hard with insurers to drive enhancements to our proposition.

“The hard work that has gone into creating our panel of insurers, means that when your client comes to choose the right cover for them, they can now pick from up to eight of the industry’s best known and well respected insurers. This choice is made easier to demonstrate by our website’s aggregator style results page, allowing your client to choose based on brand preference not just price.

“In addition, thanks to Paymentshield’s common policy wording, when choosing between our insurers you can be sure that you and your clients are comparing cover on a like for like basis.”
