OMS links with Scroll Finance through new API integration

Published on

One Mortgage System (OMS) has integrated with Scroll Finance to allow brokers to progress second charge buy-to-let cases through a single workflow.

The API integration currently supports Scroll Finance’s second charge buy-to-let mortgage range, enabling OMS users to move from sourcing and fact-find through to decision in principle without switching systems.

OMS said the connection is intended to reduce manual processing and improve data accuracy by allowing information to move between the two platforms.

Scroll Finance, a trading name of Perenna Bank, is currently offering its buy-to-let second charge product. Scroll and Perenna are also developing further secured lending and mortgage products.

As part of Perenna Bank, Scroll has access to retail funding.

The agreement expands OMS’s existing network of lender and specialist finance integrations. Its platform covers residential, buy-to-let, second charge, equity release, bridging and commercial mortgages, alongside general insurance and protection.

Dale Jannels, chief executive of One Mortgage System, said: “Specialist lending continues to attract new entrants, but what will separate successful lenders from the rest is their ability to combine funding strength, product innovation and operational efficiency.

“Brokers increasingly expect specialist lenders to combine strong products with efficient processes that help cases progress quickly and smoothly.

“Businesses such as Perenna have been designed to respond quickly to market opportunities and changing customer needs.

“As the specialist lending arena continues to evolve, closer connectivity between lenders and brokers will become increasingly important in helping firms scale efficiently while maintaining high service standards.”

Ashish Kashyap, deputy chief executive and chief commercial officer of Perenna, added: “At Perenna, we believe in a tech-first approach to mortgage lending.

“This includes developing better system integrations with our intermediary partners, which would drive simpler and faster lending.

“As such, we are delighted with our partnership with OMS. We are grateful to Dale, Neal and the OMS team for their support and hope to build on this relationship as we enter new markets in future.”
