Goldman Sachs has reported a 3.15% voting interest in Secure Trust Bank following a change in its shareholding.
A regulatory filing published on 9 October shows that The Goldman Sachs Group held 585,815 voting rights in the UK specialist lender after crossing a disclosure threshold on 6 October.
The holding represents 3.147242% of Secure Trust Bank’s voting rights, with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC accounting for 3.079743%.
The notification relates to voting rights attached to ordinary shares, with no additional exposure disclosed through financial instruments.
Goldman Sachs notified Secure Trust Bank of the position on 8 October. The filing does not specify its previous holding or the number of shares involved in the transaction.
Secure Trust Bank, which is headquartered in Solihull, operates across business finance and retail finance, including its V12 brand.
The disclosure does not indicate whether Goldman Sachs intends to increase its interest in the lender.
