Chartwell Mortgage Services has introduced Instamo’s FastSubmit technology through its integration with JammJar, allowing its advisers and administrators to transfer client information directly into lender application systems.
The Greater Manchester-based mortgage and protection adviser, which specialises in new-build properties, will use the integration to reduce the amount of information its case handlers need to enter manually when submitting mortgage applications.
FastSubmit automatically populates decisions in principle (DIPs) and full mortgage applications using information already held within JammJar, an AI-powered operating system for mortgage firms.
According to Instamo, the technology can make application submissions up to 10 times faster, saving an average of 26 minutes per case.
The integration is intended to reduce administrative workloads and the risk of data entry errors by removing the need to repeatedly input the same borrower information across different lender portals.
Scott Howitt, sales director at Chartwell Mortgage Services, said: “Our case handlers complete applications on behalf of our clients, so every minute spent rekeying the same details into lender portals is a minute taken away from moving cases forward.
“FastSubmit, available through JammJar, lets us take the data we already hold and get it into lender systems faster and with fewer errors, which means a better experience for our clients, particularly on new build cases where timescales matter.”
AI INTEGRATION
JammJar uses AI to capture and complete case information from adviser conversations, which can then be transferred to Instamo for submission to lenders.
The arrangement means firms using both systems can move from the initial collection of client information to the mortgage application stage without having to manually re-enter data.
Karl Griffin (pictured), chief executive of JammJar, said: “Firms like Chartwell aren’t waiting to see what AI can do for their business. They’re already using it to take the heavy lifting out of admin, give advisers more time with clients and grow without costs rising at the same rate.
“With JammJar, advisers don’t even need to key in case information in the first place. It’s captured and completed automatically from a conversation, and our integration with Instamo means that information can then be used to populate lender applications.
“This is what the future of mortgage advice looks like, and firms that continue doing things the way they always have are going to find it increasingly difficult to compete.”
Steve Rhodes, head of growth at Instamo, added: “Chartwell is a well established name in mortgage advice, and we are delighted that they have chosen FastSubmit.
“Working alongside JammJar means firms can access FastSubmit from within the platform they already use, and we are looking forward to supporting the Chartwell team as they get more cases in front of lenders, faster.”
