Bryan Jackson, chairman of Birmingham-based mutual Wesleyan Assurance Society, has been awarded a CBE in the New Year’s Honours List for services to manufacturing and the East Midlands region.
Jackson, who was also awarded an OBE in 2000, was appointed chairman of Wesleyan Assurance Society in May 2010, after three years as a non-executive director. He was managing director of Toyota Motor Manufacturing (UK) Limited until his retirement in 2004.
