Virgin Money raises residential fixed rates by up to 0.20%

Virgin Money is increasing a range of residential purchase, remortgage and product transfer fixed rates from Wednesday 30 September.

The largest changes will affect existing borrowers taking a new deal, with selected two-year, five-year and 10-year product transfer fixed rates rising by up to 0.20%.

Three-year product transfer fixed rates will increase by up to 0.16%.

For new purchase business, Virgin Money will raise two-year fixed rates by up to 0.13%, while five-year fixed rates will increase by up to 0.11%.

Shared Ownership fixed rates will also rise by up to 0.13%.

Changes to the lender’s remortgage range will see two-year fixed rates increase by up to 0.12% and five-year fixed rates by up to 0.16%.

The revised rates take effect on 30 September.
