Ultimate Finance Group helps local children’s hospice

Ultimate Finance Group has given £5169.20 to Francis House Children’s Hospice in Didsbury, after raising the money at its inaugural charity golf day held at Worsley Park.

15 teams of four took part in the event in September, which also included a charity raffle in the evening.

Martin Emmett, regional director of Ultimate Finance in Manchester,  said he was delighted to hand over the money to Kate Puc, fundraising officer at Francis House.

“Francis House does a fantastic job in providing loving care for children and young adults with life threatening conditions, as well as providing support and friendship for the whole family,” he said.

“We have nothing but admiration for the team who provide a place of comfort, rest, fun and enjoyment in very difficult times, and we are so pleased to have raised much needed funds for such a worthwhile cause.”

Puc said: “It was fantastic to have been the chosen charity for Ultimate Finance’s first golf day. It was great working with Martin Emmott and the team and we hope to work with them again in the near future.  Thank you to everyone at Ultimate Finance for all of the money they have raised towards helping Francis House.”
