The Leeds raises money for Marie Curie

Leeds Building Society has raised over £800 for the 2010 Marie Curie Cancer Care Great Daffodil Appeal.

The Society’s 67 Branches have been accepting donations for the daffodils from members of the public.

This annual campaign runs each Spring and, with the last few collections taking place and the money being counted, the total amount raised by Leeds Building Society currently stands at £895.53. Money raised from the Marie Curie Cancer Care Great Daffodil Appeal goes towards providing more free nursing care for people with a terminal illness in their own home and the charity’s hospices.
