Shawbrook hires London development manager

Marc Champ has been appointed as regional development manager for London by Shawbrook Bank’s commercial mortgages division.

Champ (pictured) is tasked with working closely with partners and clients to strengthen relationships and generate new business.

He has 10 years’ property industry experience, as well as his own property investment portfolio. His previous experience includes working at Lloyds Banking Group for eight years, where he was a business development manager, as well as at RBS and Savills Private Finance.

champ said: “Shawbrook has built an impressive reputation in a relatively short time and I hope to enhance this further and deliver positive results for brokers, customers and stakeholders alike. Delivery of results with customer service at the fore is the key to success and I relish the challenges ahead.”

Karen Bennett, sales and marketing director for commercial mortgages at Shawbrook Bank, added: “Having Marc as a new addition to the team will add strength to our commercial mortgages division. Not only does he possess an impressive understanding of the property industry, Marc’s knowledge and his energetic determination to share it are apparent.

“As a regional development manager for London, Marc will manage key broker relationships and play a significant role in the sales activity, making him an asset to this busy region.”
