Shawbrook Bank moves into short-term lending space

Shawbrook Bank has unveiled a new short-term loan for the purchase of investment property.

The lender is now offering short-term loans between £150,000 and £2.5 million for the purchase of residential and semi-commercial investment property, funding up to 65% of the purchase price. Loans will have a minimum term of three months, and a maximum term of 12 months.

Shawbrook Bank says it will lend on properties in “strong geographical locations””.
