NatWest reduces shared equity mortgage rate

NatWest Intermediary Solutions has cut the rate on its two-year fixed rate shared equity mortgage to 4.49% from 4.99% and increased the LTV from 70% to 75%.

The two-year fixed rate 75% LTV deal offers an initial rate of 4.49% (SVR 4.0%, 4.2% APR) until 31 March 2012 with a £199 arrangement fee.

Overpayments of up to 10% of the outstanding balance each year can be made and the early repayment charge is 3% up to 31 March 2012.
