Mortgage Brain embeds LMS conveyancing service into CRM Brain

Published on

Mortgage Brain has integrated the LMS Select conveyancing platform directly into CRM Brain, allowing brokers to obtain quotes, instruct law firms and track referrals without leaving the CRM.

The development builds on a partnership between Mortgage Brain and LMS that began in March 2023, when users of Mortgage Brain were first given access to the LMS Select platform.

The latest integration removes the need for brokers to use a separate portal or re-key client information when arranging conveyancing.

Brokers can request LMS Select quotes from CRM Brain, with quotes returned in under 30 seconds and displayed alongside each other for comparison. Once a quote has been reviewed and shared with the client, the broker can add notes for the conveyancer and submit the instruction from within the CRM.

The service covers purchases, remortgages, sales and combined sale and purchase transactions.

REFERRALS LINKED TO CLIENT CASES

Once a conveyancer has been instructed, CRM Brain creates a linked referral record against the client’s relevant requirement, enabling the broker to follow its progress alongside the mortgage case.

Referral fees can also be recorded and fed into a firm’s commission processing, providing a record of income generated through conveyancing referrals.

Brokers retain access to lender-approved law firms through LMS Select, as well as progress updates between instruction and completion and support from the LMS Select team.

Neil Wyatt (pictured), chief commercial officer at Mortgage Brain, said: “Our partnership with LMS has come a long way since 2023. What started as giving our users access to LMS Select has grown into something much more joined up, with conveyancing now built directly into CRM Brain.

“It shows how a partnership can mature when both sides stay focused on what brokers really need. Conveyancing is a critical part of getting a case over the line, and brokers can now quote, compare and instruct without ever leaving the system they’re already working in, with the referral and any fee tracked automatically.

“We’ll continue working with LMS and our other partners to bring more of the client journey together in CRM Brain.”

Travis Scholes, commercial director at LMS, added: “When we first partnered with Mortgage Brain in 2023, we shared a goal of making the start of the conveyancing journey simpler for brokers and their clients. Embedding LMS Select within CRM Brain is the natural next step in that relationship.

“Brokers no longer need a separate portal to quote and instruct, which means less admin, fewer delays and a smoother journey for clients from application through to completion. We’re looking forward to building on what we’ve achieved together.”
