Accord cuts buy-to-let rates by up to 0.43%

Accord Mortgages is reducing selected buy-to-let rates by up to 0.43 percentage points, with the largest cuts aimed at landlords borrowing at 80% LTV.

The intermediary-only lender’s revised range will take effect from 8am on 8 October, with changes across two-year and five-year fixed rates.

For house purchases at 80% LTV, selected two-year fixed rates will fall by as much as 0.43 percentage points, while five-year fixed rates are being reduced by up to 0.23 percentage points.

Landlords with deposits of at least 25% will see smaller reductions. Two-year fixed rates at these LTVs will be cut by up to 0.07 percentage points, with five-year rates falling by up to 0.04 percentage points.

80% LTV PRICING

Among the changes is a two-year fixed rate for house purchase at 80% LTV, which will fall from 6.45% to 6.02%. The product carries a £995 fee and includes a standard valuation.

A five-year fixed rate at the same LTV will be reduced from 6.08% to 5.85%, also with a £995 fee and standard valuation.
