MIMHC wants industry participation in Time to Talk Day

Published on

The Mortgage Industry Mental Health Charter (MIMHC) is calling on mortgage industry businesses to participate in the UK’s biggest mental health conversation as part of Time to Talk Day.

Taking place today (Thursday 3 February 2022), the mental health day aims to bring friends, families, communities, and workplaces together to talk, listen and change lives by simply starting a conversation.

As part of their commitment to raising awareness and improving mental health and wellbeing provision within the mortgage and finance sector, MIMHC will be participating in the initiative to spark meaningful interactions with their signatories.

Established in 2021, the not-for-profit organisation is the result of a collaboration between the following co-founders: Crystal Specialist Finance, Coreco, Chartwell Mortgage Services, Landbay, The Brightstar Group, Knowledge Bank and SimplyBiz Mortgages.

The organisation provides guidance, resources and a framework so its members can embrace and implement best practice mental health provision within their companies.

This year also promises other developments, including the creation of dedicated access to mental health experts, exclusive webinars from wellbeing professionals and access to member discounts on Mental Health First Aid training.

Setting a target to reach over 200 signatories in 2022, they are urging businesses who are interested in learning more about MIMHC and how to sign up to visit their website at Mortgage Industry Mental Health Charter or join their group on LinkedIn.
