L&G appointed to Pink/BDS GI panel

Legal & General has been appointed to the insurer panel at Pink Home Loans and BDS Mortgage Group to provide general insurance products.

Pink and BDS advisers will be able to access home and buy-to-let insurance, as well as MPPI.

Phil Kennedy, business development director for Legal & General’s general insurance, said: “We’re very pleased to be appointed by Pink Home Loans and BDS Mortgage Group as this significantly expands our distribution reach in the intermediary channel. We hope that mortgage advisers will see general insurance as a valuable alternative revenue stream and the opportunity to provide their clients with a more complete service. Selling this type of insurance alongside a mortgage is a natural next step.””
