James Miller & Associates renews Stonebridge partnership

The Cornwall-based mortgage and protection firm James Miller & Associates has extended its partnership with Stonebridge as it pursues long-term growth.

The broker said its relationship with Stonebridge, including access to the network’s senior leadership team, was a key factor in its decision to renew the agreement.

James Miller & Associates has 11 advisers and is seeking further recruits as it expands. The firm has received more than 300 five-star customer reviews over the past 18 months.

It said Stonebridge’s training and adviser development programmes had also supported its growth plans.

James Miller, founder of James Miller & Associates, said: “The team and I have thoroughly enjoyed being a member of the Stonebridge family. We’ve developed strong relationships with the senior leadership team as well as key people in the wider business, and they’ve always been supportive and constructive.

“Their vision as a network closely aligns with our own. It’s all about getting the best outcomes for customers.

“The bespoke training and development opportunities they provide also help our people achieve their own personal ambitions.”

Under the renewed agreement, the firm will retain access to Stonebridge’s technology, including its adviser platform Revolution, as well as compliance expertise, operational support and business development resources.

Rob Clifford, chief executive of Stonebridge, said: “James and his team have built an excellent reputation by putting customers at the heart of the business, and their impressive customer feedback reflects this.

“We’re delighted that we’ll be continuing to support them as principal, very much supporting the continued and ambitious growth plans.

“Our role is to provide ARs who choose Stonebridge with the support, development opportunities and infrastructure they need to succeed, and the litmus test for us is whether they feel like they can expand at a pace they’re happy with.”
