Hampshire Trust Bank appoints bridging BDM

Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB) has announced the appointment of Herbie Bone as a business development manager (BDM) within its bridging division.

Bone (pictured) has over three years’ experience in the financial services industry sector and joins HTB from Monmouthshire Building Society, where he was its commercial relationship manager.

In his new role, Bone will be responsible for looking after brokers in the South Wales and M4 Corridor territory. This will include keeping them up to date on the latest HTB products, processes and providing efficient feedback on lending decisions including the issuing of terms.

He said: “I am delighted to be joining HTB at such an exciting time during the relaunch of its bridging proposition. Representing a very strong brand, coupled with working alongside colleagues with established reputations, further enhances the likelihood of our success within the bridging space.

“There are some exceptional broker firms within South Wales and the M4 Corridor that I am excited to work with in order to maximise the opportunities for all parties involved. I am particularly looking forward to enhancing the HTB bridging proposition within my area through education on our systems, processes and being accessible to my brokers.”

Lorenzo Satchell, head of sales, bridging finance, Hampshire Trust Bank, added: “It’s great to have Herbie on board at Hampshire Trust Bank. A native of South Wales and with business development experience in the region, he’s ideally positioned to support his brokers with their bridging applications.

“Our bridging team is going from strength to strength as we aim to increase our market share this year; brokers will find our product and service proposition to be stronger than ever.”
