Four new hires for LendInvest

LendInvest has expanded its capital markets and treasury team with four new hires.

In addition, Jonathan Gomez has been promoted to the role of treasurer.

The firm said these hires are part of an effort to continue to build up LendInvest’s in-house capital markets capabilities, as it looks to open a securitisation programme next year for its buy-to-let product, which it launched last year.

Gomez joined LendInvest as director, capital markets in 2015. Prior to which he worked for Bank of America in Los Angeles, in warehouse lending.

His new role as treasurer will involve overseeing the funding obligations, liquidity forecasting, and cash and interest rate risk management at LendInvest.

Allister Keller has joined from Charter Court Financial Services. He is a member of the treasury team with responsibilities for portfolio reporting and analysis and hedging.

Taher Miah has joined from Deloitte, where he worked on analytics and the modeling of securitisation transactions. Prior to this, he was at IHS Markit where he was responsible for valuations and building out their European ABS pricing service.

Robin Parker has joined from Orbit Housing, one of the largest social housing developers in the UK, where he worked on the largest single-tranche bond issue seen in the sector.

Victor Pichon has joined from fintech lender Prodigy Finance, where he helped raise over a billion dollars in debt funding in the past year. Prior to this, he was at Standard & Poor’s where he was responsible for the ratings of Residential Mortgage Backed Securities.

Rod Lockhart, head of capital markets and fund management at LendInvest, said: “As a fast-growing business, these four new members of our capital markets and treasury team join us at a really exciting time. Their knowledge and experience is going to be invaluable as we move towards the next milestone in LendInvest’s growth.”
