FCS Compliance is to hold a free webinar examining changes to money laundering regulations and updated HMRC guidance for the property sector.
The hour-long Ask the Experts: Money Laundering Regulation Changes & HMRC Guidance webinar will take place at 1pm on Wednesday 23 September.
The event follows a webinar held during the summer covering recent updates to the Money Laundering Regulations and HMRC guidance.
FCS Compliance said the latest session would be led by questions from attendees, giving property professionals an opportunity to seek clarification on how the changes apply in practice.
The webinar will be hosted by FCS Compliance lead AML consultant Stephen Williamson and senior AML consultant Jen Siwicki.

Williamson said: “The changes to the Money Laundering Regulations, together with HMRC’s updated guidance, represent one of the most significant periods of change to the AML framework affecting the property sector in recent years.
“Our last webinar generated a considerable number of follow-up questions from property professionals, particularly around how the changes should be applied in practice.
“This webinar is an opportunity for people to put those questions directly to us. We want to help translate the Regulations and HMRC guidance into practical, workable steps for property businesses, in what can often feel like a complex and nuanced area of compliance.”
