Faulkner Powell renews Stonebridge deal after adviser expansion

Published on

Faulkner Powell Mortgages has extended its partnership with Stonebridge beyond 2030 after increasing its adviser team significantly since joining the network in 2023.

The Leek-based firm now employs 12 people, including nine advisers, having expanded to more than four times its previous size in less than three years.

Faulkner Powell Mortgages was established in 2021 by Jordan Powell and Lee Faulkner, who moved the business to Stonebridge two years later after deciding their previous network arrangement was limiting their growth plans.

Since joining Stonebridge, the firm has expanded its operational infrastructure and invested in additional support and social media resources, alongside growing its adviser headcount.

FURTHER GROWTH PLANNED

The business is also planning an FPM Academy aimed at supporting newly qualified advisers, while looking to broaden its offering beyond mortgages, protection and insurance.

Jordan Powell, co-founder of Faulkner Powell, said: “When we first spoke with Stonebridge, it was clear they were the right fit for our business. We had been feeling restricted and knew we weren’t expanding as fast as we could have been.

“Stonebridge ticked every box we were looking for in a network partner, and gave us tremendous support and confidence throughout the transition process. Once we joined them, it was like a weight had been lifted and things really started to happen.

“From day one, the team made us feel valued and backed our ambition to grow.”

Lee Faulkner, co-founder of Faulkner Powell, added: “The support, guidance and accessibility of their team have been second to none, and the difference compared with our previous network has been night and day.

“With Stonebridge alongside us, we’ve been able to more than quadruple in size in less than three years. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to extend the relationship and are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead.”

The firm has also accumulated more than 650 five-star customer reviews.

Rob Clifford, chief executive at Stonebridge, said: “Faulkner Powell is a prime example of how Stonebridge helps entrepreneurs to build substantial businesses in a relatively short space of time.

“Jordan and Lee are truly dedicated to quality advice, have a fantastic team and we have no doubts at all that they will go on to enjoy continued success.

“They’re a huge asset to our network and the sentiments they’ve shared about our own team mean the world to us. We are so pleased that they so highly value being part of the Stonebridge family.”
