Chetwood Bank has opened a new London office in Tower 42 as it expands its wholesale banking and commercial real estate activities.
The digital challenger bank has moved from Eccleston Place to the City landmark, giving it a base close to Threadneedle Street and the Bank of England.
The relocation comes as Chetwood grows its UK operations, with its balance sheet now standing at £7 billion. The bank also has offices in Fleet, Manchester and Wrexham.
Its recent expansion has included the launch of a wholesale banking division and a series of senior appointments.
Alex Grove has joined as managing director of wholesale banking, Toby Sharp as director of commercial real estate and Nirvan Sunderam as managing director of wholesale risk.
Chetwood said the Tower 42 office would support its work across structured finance, commercial real estate and investment activity, while providing a central meeting point for staff and business partners.

Paul Noble (pictured), chief executive of Chetwood Bank, said: “Tower 42 is an iconic building in the heart of the City and gives us a London base that reflects the scale and ambition of Chetwood Bank today.
“As we enter the next phase of our journey, the new office gives us the right environment to support collaboration, deepen relationships and continue growing the business.”
