Catalyst appoints new credit team support officer

Catalyst, the short term property finance lender, has announced the appointment of Ellie Hadden in a newly created role of credit team support officer.

Prior to joining Catalyst, Hadden (pictured) spent five years working at Nationwide Building Society, dealing with property valuations. She has previous experience of carrying out desktop valuations on low LTV properties, dealing with pre and post- valuation queries, and reviewing valuation appeals to ensure customers received the best outcomes.

Matt Gillion, director of credit at Catalyst, said: “Ellie has gained great experience from working within the mortgage industry and is going to be a key member of Catalyst’s credit Team. Ellie will be assisting our credit analysts/underwriters in preparing files for assessment and keeping the process fluid.

“She will utilise her great communication skills to provide those key updates when they are required. Welcome to the Catalyst team Ellie.”

Hadden added: “I recently took a year out to travel Southeast Asia and Australia, and I had the time of my life. Now, I’m back where I belong in Bournemouth with the beautiful sandy beaches. I am looking forward to the challenge in my role at Catalyst and working in a fun and dynamic office.

“I think with my previous experience in admin, and on the valuation side of things, I can bring valuable knowledge to the team and create great communication throughout.”
