Brightstar Financial expands first charge panel

Brightstar Financial has added the Manchester Building Society to its first charge lender panel.

The specialist distributor says it and the Manchester will work closely together, with the latter’s case by case approach to individual underwriting able to assist those clients who experience difficulty accessing mortgage funds.

This could be due to a number of ‘non-tick box factors’, such as having less than three years accounts, unusual property types or being employed on a contract basis, Brightstar said.

Rob Jupp , Brightstar’s managing director, said: “The difficulty in placing quality business with mainstream residential lenders is often infuriating.
