Rob Barnard and Richard Spinks have joined specialist lender Pepper Homeloans.

Barnard joins as sales director and is responsible for distribution and sales strategy. He was previously head of intermediary distribution at Aldermore Bank and has held senior sales roles with a number of specialist lenders.

Spinks (pictured) joins as director of lending operations and takes responsibility for mortgage processing, credit and systems. He was previously chief mortgage officer and programme director at Saffron Building Society and has held operational management roles for several banks and building societies.

These appointments follow the recruitment of Colin Snowdon and Jeff Knight earlier this year.

Snowdon, Pepper Homeloans’ managing director, said: “I have worked with both Richard and Rob for many years and know their experience and talent is second to none. They both have an important part to play in helping to position Pepper UK as one of the leading specialist lenders in the UK and I’m delighted to be welcoming them to Pepper Homeloans.”
