Michael Portillo and Jo Malone will be the keynote speakers for Association of Residential Letting Agents’ (ARLA) Conference 2016.

It event will be held on Tuesday 12 April 2016 at ExCeL London.

ARLA Conference 2016 looks to debate many of the relevant issues in the lettings industry, including agency fees, commissions, rent control and Government priorities in the housing sector.

Peter Savage, ARLA president, said: “As a former MP and cabinet minister, Michael Portillo will provide a useful insight into the Government priorities and changes in legislation, that have proved to be a popular issue with delegates in previous conferences. And with her huge success, I am sure many agents will build their skills by hearing from Jo Malone on how to develop an idea into an international recognisable brand.

“Our new location, ExCeL, means that this years’ Conference is shaping up to be the biggest in ARLAs’ history. We’re pleased to be able to welcome more people as the annual Conference is an important date in the year where delegates can come to hear from authoritative speakers and debate a range of issues.

“It will be packed with vital information and will be a great opportunity for networking and for visitors and delegates to seek out new innovations, products and services. We also encourage potential members to come and meet ARLA representative’s on our information stand.

“The Conference is already attracting massive support from industry suppliers through sponsorships and support; including Agent Assure, CFP Software, FixFlo, HomeLet, Propspace, Rightmove, TDS, Tenant Shop and Veco.”
