Alps expands landlord insurance add-ons on Acturis

Published on

Alps has made its full range of let property insurance add-ons available through the Acturis trading platform, widening brokers’ access to specialist landlord cover.

The expanded range includes legal expenses, excess protection, home emergency, rent guarantee and pet damage protection.

The move builds on Alps’ existing presence on Acturis and is intended to give intermediaries access to a broader selection of landlord insurance products through the platform.

Products are backed by a panel of insurers, with claims handled either by Alps’ in-house team or specialist claims partners depending on the policy.

Alps said brokers using the range are not subject to minimum business requirements, tie-ins or exclusivity arrangements.

Michelle O’Reilly, managing director at Alps, said: “Expanding our offering on Acturis to cover our let property products is another important step in making it easier for brokers to access the specialist protection their clients need.

“Our suite covers key risk areas across the letting journey – from legal disputes and unexpected emergencies to loss of rent and pet-related damage – while giving brokers the flexibility and simplicity they expect from Alps.”

Simon De Ferry, chief insurance products officer at Acturis, said: “We’re pleased to support Alps in expanding their let property offering on Acturis.

“Giving brokers access to a broader range of specialist products through a single digital trading platform makes it easier to identify and place the right cover for their clients.

“The expansion of Alps’ offering is a great example of how strong insurer and MGA partnerships can continue to enhance the choice and efficiency available to Acturis users.”
