Another key hire for LV=

LV= has hired Myles Rix as actuarial and strategy director of its life and pensions business.

He joins LV= from Aviva Health where he was finance and commercial director, and has over 16 years’ experience in the life and health insurance industries.

In his new role Rix will be responsible for the life and pensions actuarial pricing teams, the development of the wider life business unit strategy and will also contribute to group wide initiatives such as Solvency II.

Richard Rowney, LV= managing director of life and pensions, said: “LV= continues to grow its life and pensions business following an extremely successful 2009. We are delighted to announce that Myles is joining us to help build on this success. Commitment to our principles of helping people look after the things they love in life has helped us to put together a fantastic product and service offering for customers and advisers alike. We are confident Myles will play a key role in this going forward.””
