Andrew Haldane reappointed to MPC

The governor of the Bank of England, Mark Carney, has reappointed Andrew Haldane, the Bank of England’s chief economist, to the Monetary Policy Committee.

The appointment is for a further three-year term.

Haldane is also executive director for monetary analysis, research and statistics. He has responsibility for research and statistics across the Bank.
