Aldermore hires home counties relationship manager

Sarah McCawley has joined the residential mortgages team at Aldermore as a field-based relationship manager in the home counties.

McCawley has 20 years’ experience in financial services and joins from Vitality PruProtect where she was a business development manager. She has also previously worked for GMAC and RBS as well as being a former mortgage broker.

Steve Carruthers, Aldermore’s head of sales for residential mortgages, said: “Sarah has an extensive knowledge of the intermediary market, is well known by brokers in the region and has a fantastic understanding of mortgage lending.

“Being out in the field, meeting brokers face-to-face, Sarah’s energy and expertise will be a great addition to the business and really help set Aldermore apart.”

McCawley added: “After hearing only positive things about Aldermore, I leapt at the opportunity to work for the Bank. Its goal to deliver banking as it should be really resonated with me. I am really looking forward to getting out and meeting brokers face-to-face on behalf of Aldermore.

“I plan to get the ball rolling straight away, meeting brokers across the region and continuing to build upon existing and new relationships for the bank.”
