80 Platform jobs affected by restructuring

Around 80 Platform employees have entered a period of consultation as the lender moves various functions from London.

Platform’s pre completion service will be moved to the Co-operative Financial Services’ (CFS) mortgage processing centre in Leek and Platform’s customer care service will be relocated to its service centre in Stockport.

A spokesman told BestAdvice.net that Platform’s remaining staff in London will stay based in the capital, but not in the specialist lender’s current Harbour Exchange Square office in Docklands.

He added: “The prime reason for these changes is to ensure that Platform has access to additional people with skills and experience in mortgage processing and customer service
