Vida has announced the appointment of Iain Gibbons as director of marketing.

He joins Vida from Wesleyan, where he was group marketing director. He will report directly to Anth Mooney, CEO, and joins in the autumn.

Gibbons has over 25 years’ experience in the industry, having held senior roles at McCann-Erickson, Virgin Money and Thomas Cook Money.

He replaces Nick Allen who has been with Vida since its inception in 2015.

Mooney said: “As a lending specialist, Vida remains a relatively young company and we are at an important and exciting time in the development of the business. Iain’s appointment is key to our growth strategy and will help us to deliver on our business plans by implementing effective and creative marketing campaigns. His extensive experience and expertise will drive our communication initiatives, helping to build our brand awareness and move Vida to the next phase of our journey.
