UnderwriteMe has appointed Tiffany Chan as strategic partnerships manager as it looks to develop relationships around its Protection Platform.
Chan (pictured) joins the protection technology business after more than eight years in financial services, with experience spanning commercial growth, solutions sales, customer experience and proposition development.
She was previously at Swiss Re, where her roles included solutions sales manager. She also led the establishment and commercialisation of the group’s behavioural consulting proposition in Asia-Pacific.
At UnderwriteMe, Chan will work with insurers, advisers and other industry stakeholders to develop strategic partnerships supporting the Protection Platform and the company’s wider technology and underwriting offering.
Chan said: “I’m delighted to be joining UnderwriteMe at such an exciting time for the business. The company has built a reputation for delivering innovative technology solutions that improve the protection journey for advisers and insurers.
“I’m looking forward to working closely with our partners, understanding their priorities and identifying opportunities to create mutual value, strengthen relationships and support the continued development of the protection market.”
Andrew Doran, chief executive at UnderwriteMe, added: “Tiffany brings a wealth of experience in commercial strategy, customer experience and partnership development.
“Her understanding of the protection market, combined with her passion for delivering customer focused solutions, makes her an excellent addition to the team.
“We are delighted to welcome her to UnderwriteMe and look forward to the contribution she will make as we continue to develop the Protection Platform and enhance the value we deliver to the UK protection market.”
The appointment comes as UnderwriteMe expands its Protection Platform, with Zurich among its recent additions.
