Together appoints corporate sales director for Teesside and North Yorkshire

Together has appointed Kristi Capaldi as corporate sales director for Teesside and North Yorkshire, as the specialist lender continues to build out its regional team.

Capaldi (pictured) joins the Cheadle-based lender from Metro Bank, where she was local director for the North East and oversaw growth and retention across its business and commercial customer base in the region.

She was also involved in the launch of Metro Bank’s first North East store in Gateshead.

Together said the appointment would strengthen its regional expertise as it looks to expand support for customers and intermediaries across the UK. The lender has a loan book of £8.1 billion.

Before moving into financial services, Capaldi began her career in Dubai as part of the pre-opening team for the Conrad Hilton. After returning to the UK, she worked in the legal sector, specialising in immigration and human rights law, before helping to develop a law firm.

Her career later extended into fintech, with involvement in initiatives launched in Chicago, as well as work spanning hospitality, leisure, technology, engineering and health.

Together said her varied background would support her work with brokers and corporate clients across Teesside and North Yorkshire, where she will focus on tailored lending solutions and regional growth.

Capaldi said: “Together really stood out to me because of its family feel. It’s not a tick-box company, there’s a genuine commitment to understanding clients and helping them achieve their ambitions with property. That really resonates with how I like to work.

“Working across so many different industries has given me a real understanding of people, what drives them, the challenges they face, and how they want to grow their businesses. I’m excited to bring that experience to Together and support our clients across Teesside and North Yorkshire.”

Mark Eastwood welcomed the appointment and said: “We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Kristi to the team. Her breadth of lending experience and passion for supporting clients make her a fantastic addition to Together.

“We’re excited to see the impact she will have across Teesside and North Yorkshire as we continue to grow our presence in the region.”
