Tie for Complete’s ‘lender Ryder Cup’

Complete FS’s ‘lender Ryder Cup’ ended in an 8-8 tie with the Mortgage and Loans team retaining the trophy they won last year, after a close run contest at the Meon Valley Golf & Country Club.

The specialist lending packager, whose directors Tony Salentino and Phil Jay, respectively captain a mortgage and loans team and bridging and commercial team representing their respective industries, has hosted the Lender Ryder Cup since 2012.

The first two years the Cup has been won by Jay’s bridging & commercial team, but following the latest result, the annual competition is tied at 2-2.

Valentino said: “These days are great for our industry, it shows a willingness to work together. It’s fantastic to win again and keep the cup for the Mortgage and Loans team.”

Jay added: “It was destined to be close, we certainly got them worried, but there’s always next year.”
