Buckinghamshire Building Society has partnered with Mortgage Broker Tools to make its lending proposition available through the platform from today.
The partnership will give brokers using Mortgage Broker Tools access to the society’s affordability assessment, criteria and product information.
Buckinghamshire said the move would help advisers identify suitable options for clients with a range of borrowing needs, including more complex cases.
The society said the agreement formed part of its continuing effort to improve access to its proposition and support brokers with tools that help them place cases more efficiently.
Buckinghamshire Building Society offers manual underwriting and lends in areas including first-time buyers, impaired credit and buy-to-let.
Claire Askham, head of mortgage sales at Buckinghamshire Building Society, said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Mortgage Broker Tools and making our proposition available to its members.

“At Buckinghamshire Building Society, we’re focused on making it easier for brokers to identify where we may be able to support their clients, particularly those with circumstances that may fall outside high street criteria.
“By working with MBT, we can help more advisers access our products quickly and confidently, while showcasing the flexibility available through our range.”
Tanya Toumadj (main picture), managing director at Mortgage Broker Tools, added: “We’re excited to welcome Buckinghamshire Building Society to the award winning MBT platform. Their flexible approach to lending will give brokers greater visibility of the options available for their clients.
“As the lending market becomes increasingly diverse, fast and reliable access to affordability, criteria and product information is more important than ever.
“By integrating Buckinghamshire’s criteria, affordability and products into MBT, advisers can research cases more efficiently, enabling them to identify suitable solutions faster and with greater confidence and deliver better outcomes for borrowers.
“Working with Buckinghamshire Building Society has been a pleasure, and we look forward to working with them and developing our partnership.”
