Accord Mortgages has recruited Kelly Stowell as regional sales manager for London, the South-East and Northern Ireland.

Stowell (pictured) returns to Accord after three years with NatWest’s private banking division and brings almost three decades of mortgage industry experience to the role.

She originally joined the lender as an underwriter in 1997 and was part of the business during the early years of Accord.

In her new role, Stowell will work with Accord’s team across London, the South-East and Northern Ireland, with responsibility for supporting and developing staff, strengthening relationships with brokers and contributing to business growth.

Stowell said: “What has always stood out to me about Accord is its focus on people. Throughout my career I’ve been passionate about helping people achieve their homeownership ambitions and recognising that everyone has their own circumstances and goals.

“Returning to the business where I started my mortgage career is a fantastic opportunity. Accord’s approach has always been about looking at people as individuals and working with brokers to find the best option for their customers.

“I’m looking forward to strengthening relationships across the region and helping brokers achieve great outcomes for the people they support.”

Chris Hill, head of sales for Accord Mortgages, said: “Kelly’s extensive network of industry relationships and connections, combined with her deep understanding of Accord and all it stands for makes her a fantastic addition to the team.

“Our regional sales managers play a vital role in developing teams of highly skilled development managers who support brokers and help them find solutions for their clients.

“Kelly’s customer-first approach and knowledge of the intermediary market will be a real asset as we continue to strengthen support for our brokers across London, the South-East and Northern Ireland.”
