Skipton launches International Women’s Day podcast

Published on

Skipton Building Society for intermediaries has released the first of a four-part podcast series aimed at brokers.

The first podcast, titled “Skipton Talks on International Women’s Day” is now available to stream from all major platforms. The podcast is all about diversity and inclusion with a focus on women in the workplace.

Racheal Hunnisett is joined by Skipton’s senior mortgage product lead Jennifer Lloyd and they both talk through their career paths, the challenges they have faced, and some of their most influential moments on the journey to where they are now.

The podcast ends with some statistics from the recent Association of Mortgage Intermediaries ‘Diversity, Inclusion and Equity in the mortgage industry’ report and a discussion on what we can do to make changes going forwards.

Lloyd said: “I’m incredibly passionate about championing inclusion in the mortgage industry and having the opportunity to share my own experiences was a real privilege. I hope that our conversation inspires everyone who listens and look forward to continuing the discussion.”
