Shelter receives four-figure donation from L&G Mortgage Club

Legal & General Mortgage Club raised £3,966 for the homeless charity Shelter at its Mortgage Club awards.

The event, held on the 19 June, highlights the country’s best lenders, broker firms and individuals. Guests at the event were asked to make donations towards the charity.

Legal & General has been a supporter of Shelter for many years and this takes the total the company has raised for the charity to over £80,000.

Jeremy Duncombe, director at Legal & General Mortgage Club, said: “I am really pleased that we have raised this money for Shelter and I would like to say a big thank you to those who donated so generously.

“The work that Shelter does to support those living on the streets or in danger of losing their home is vital, and I am delighted that we are able to continue to work with them.”
