Shadow Treasury secretary to be guest speaker at AIFA dinner

The Association of Independent Financial Advisers (AIFA) has announced that Chris Leslie MP, Shadow Financial Secretary to the Treasury, will be the guest speaker at this year’s AIFA annual dinner.

The Association’s independent chairman, the Rt Hon. John Gummer, Lord Deben will respond to the speech.

AIFA’s Annual Dinner will be held on 8 November at 8 Northumberland Avenue and will be sponsored by BlackRock.

Stephen Gay, AIFA’s director general, said: “I am delighted that Chris Leslie is joining us at our annual dinner as he has shown a strong interest in the rapidly changing regulatory environment that is facing our membership and has strong views on the government’s economic strategy.
