Recession possible outcome of austerity measures

Government austerity measures risk sending UK into recession, according to Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM).

James Carrick, LGIM’s economist, argues that government growth forecasts are too optimistic and warned the economy remains at risk of falling into recession.
