Precise joins LMS Panel Link for specialist residential cases

Published on

Precise has joined LMS’s Panel Link service as the specialist lender looks to reduce manual processes and improve turnaround times across its residential mortgage business.

The arrangement will give Precise access to LMS’s panel management technology and a network of compliant law firms, with the platform designed to improve communication between lenders and conveyancers.

Precise, part of OSB Group, provides mortgages for borrowers including the self-employed and customers with adverse credit histories.

Its sister lender Rely joined Panel Link in 2025, and Precise will now use the same range of LMS services across its residential cases.

DIGITAL CONVEYANCING TOOLS

The services available to Precise include Secure Link, which provides a database of lender-approved answers to frequently asked questions intended to reduce delays on post-offer queries.

It will also use LMS’s Document Distribution service to send documentation to relevant parties, alongside the Electronic Certificate of Title, or eCOT, which digitises part of the certificate of title process.

LMS said the combination of the services was intended to reduce manual touchpoints while maintaining security during the conveyancing process.

Heena Thaker, group head of legal — mortgages at Precise, said: “Having been closely involved in the implementation of Panel Link, it’s been encouraging to see the positive impact the platform is already having on our processes.

“By improving connectivity, reducing manual touchpoints and supporting more efficient case progression, Panel Link helps us deliver a smoother journey for brokers, solicitors and customers while enabling quicker turnaround times across residential applications.”

Suzanne O’Connor (pictured), chief relationship officer at LMS, said: “Our partnership with Precise comes at a time when momentum is really building around Panel Link.

“So, it’s great to bring further diversity to our lender panel and support Precise in offering accessible solutions to their customers with specialist lending needs.

“We look forward to working together, providing greater connectivity and security across their residential cases.”
