Plannr and Dynamic Planner link systems to reduce adviser administration

Published on

Financial advice firms using Plannr and Dynamic Planner can now synchronise client information and risk assessment results through a new two-way integration between the platforms.

The connection allows advisers and paraplanners to transfer client details from Plannr into Dynamic Planner automatically, with risk assessment results subsequently returned to the Plannr client record.

The arrangement is intended to reduce duplicate data entry and ensure firms have access to current client information without having to update records manually across different systems.

The integration is available to all Plannr users and forms the first stage of a longer-term agreement between the two technology providers. Further enhancements are planned over the coming months.

Plannr operates an API-first system for financial advice businesses, designed to connect client records with the specialist software used by advisers. It currently has integrations with more than 60 platforms, providers and technology partners.

Firms using both systems can activate the new connection through the Addon Store within Plannr’s settings.

IMPROVING DATA CONSISTENCY

Gareth Thompson, chief technical architect at Plannr, said: “Making the data flow both ways matters. Advisers shouldn’t have to wonder which system holds the latest version of a client’s details.

“With this integration, the work done in Dynamic Planner comes straight back into the client record in Plannr, where the rest of the firm can see it and act on it.”

The development extends Dynamic Planner’s existing connections with financial services platforms, product providers, back-office systems and customer relationship management software.

Rowan Whittington, chief product officer at Dynamic Planner, said: “We are proud to connect with all of the UK’s major platforms, product providers, back office and CRM systems, and are delighted to now have Plannr on board as well.

“Firms using our integrations report significant productivity gains, with 80% of reviews completed in under 30 minutes and suitability reports generated in as little as 4 minutes.”

The companies said additional integration functionality would be introduced as their partnership develops, with the initial release concentrating on the transfer of client information and risk assessment data.
