Panacea Adviser has announced Legg Mason Global Asset Management as its latest provider partner firm.

The asset management firm joins the Panacea community to offer advisers support and resources to help them develop their investment propositions. The business was founded in 1899 and has grown to serve individual and institutional investors on six continents.

Legg Mason will provide the Panacea community with a range of information on a number of its fixed income and equity funds, as well as a range of tools and resources to support adviser activity. These include investment insights, online videos with observations from its managers and strategists, webcasts and manager Q&As, a market snapshot covering the issues and events driving the markets over the past week, and the chart of the week.

Derek Bradley, CEO of Panacea Adviser, said: “Delivery of investment advice to clients remains a key part of most advisers’ proposition and we are always looking to partner with provider firms that can support their activity in this area. We are therefore extremely pleased to be able to welcome Legg Mason to the Panacea community – as one of the biggest asset management companies in the world, Legg Mason can offer advisers access to a range of quality resources and support in order to help them develop their investment advice offering.

“Situated within our ‘Investment Zone’, which includes information, technical adviser and details of new and existing products, advisers will now be able to find all the available Legg Mason content which covers a wide range of topics. Our aim is to make the Panacea offering as compelling as possible for advisers and we believe the addition of Legg Mason to our roster of providers will certainly do that.”

Adam Gent, head of UK sales at Legg Mason, added: “We are delighted to be part of the Panacea community. We recognise it is essential that advisers are able to receive the latest market insights and product information in order to deliver valuable support to their clients and believe Panacea is an ideal platform to assist in offering this support.”
