OSB Group appoints BDM for the South West and South Wales

OSB Group has appointed John Hoole as business development manager to support brokers across South West England and South Wales.

The lender said Hoole will work across both Precise Mortgages and Rely, supporting residential, bridging and buy-to-let propositions within the group’s specialist lending division.

Hoole (pictured) brings 20 years’ experience in financial services, including roles with high street lenders. He will focus on supporting intermediaries dealing with more complex cases, reflecting continued demand for specialist solutions across the regions.

Simon Cockerill, group head of intermediary sales at OSB Group, said: “We’re delighted to welcome John to OSB Group.

“His extensive experience and customer centric approach with incredibly strong connections across the regions, make him a strong addition to our award-winning BDM team.

“We’re excited to see the positive impact he will bring.”

Hoole said the role comes at a time when brokers are increasingly turning to specialist lenders to support borrowers whose needs fall outside standard criteria.

He added: “I’m excited at the opportunity to be supporting brokers at such a pivotal time. The specialist sector has never been more important, especially as broker and customer needs continue to grow in complexity.

“I’m really looking forward to building strong relationships with brokers and helping them place cases that require a more tailored and flexible approach.”
