Nottingham chief to step down

Ian Rowling is to retire as chief executive of the Nottingham Building Society by May 2011.

He will be succeeded by the Nottingham’s current retail director, David Marlow, subject to FSA approval. Ashraf Piranie will become deputy chief executive as well as retaining the role of finance director.
