Norton Group has announced the appointment of Daniel Jones as bridging & commercial sales manager.

Jones (pictured) has over 14 years’ experience of lending. His previous role was as a senior business development manager (SBDM) at Reparo Finance, specialising in first and second charge secured lending. Prior to this, he spent 10 years as a local business manager at Lloyds Bank.

He will head up the bridging and commercial loans department and will be responsible for growing the existing client base and building relationships with new and existing intermediaries.

Jones said: “I am delighted to join Norton at such an exciting time in the year that they celebrate their 50th anniversary.

“My career has provided me with a broad experience in the 2nd charge and bridging market and I am passionate about building lasting relationships with brokers and have successfully collaborated with businesses across various sectors throughout my career.”

Paul Stringer, managing director of Norton Group, added: “I’m very pleased to welcome Dan to the Norton Group. He has a vast amount of experience in both bridging and commercial lending and will prove an invaluable asset to enable the continued growth of this division within Norton. I am looking forward to working with him whilst he helps the group further expand his department.”
