Newcastle updates broker portal for faster product transfers

Published on

Newcastle for Intermediaries has upgraded its broker portal to make product transfers quicker and easier to complete online.

The lender said the changes are intended to help brokers review available deals more efficiently, compare options more clearly and complete like-for-like mortgage switches through its online system.

The updated journey includes a cleaner design, clearer product information and predicted monthly payments, giving brokers more detail when assessing options for clients. Reminder emails will also now include clients’ unique reference codes, allowing brokers to access the portal and view available products more quickly.

Newcastle for Intermediaries said the changes mark the first phase of a broader programme of improvements to its product transfer process.

Francesco Di Pietro, head of intermediary mortgages at Newcastle Building Society, said: “We know brokers want to spend more time helping clients, not navigating systems. These updates are the first step in enhancing our product transfer experience and part of our wider commitment to improving retention through intermediaries.

“That means brokers can focus on what really matters: supporting clients with confidence and achieving the best outcomes.”

The lender said the latest changes to its online broker portal are designed to support a more modern and streamlined approach to product transfers.
